How do you find truly reliable suppliers on Alibaba?
By Yaurapulse
I spent eight years running an export business on Alibaba, so let me show you how to find suppliers you can really trust.
Step 1: Go to Alibaba and search for the name of the product you want to source.
Step 2: Select the "Verified Supplier" and "5+ Years of Experience" filters. Why? Because this helps you weed out many less competitive trading companies.
Step 3: Look for companies with a higher "Diamond" rating and more certifications. A company with multiple certifications is highly likely to be a reliable factory. At this stage, aim to shortlist about 10 companies.
Step 4: Initiate preliminary communication. Inquire about product pricing and company background, and assess the sales representative's professionalism to determine if the company is worth pursuing further.
Final Step: Visit their storefront page, copy the company name, and look it up on supplierverifyai.com. Check their domestic credibility in China, see if they are facing any lawsuits, and review genuine feedback from employees and partners. Do not skip this step. Many people have ended up with terrible suppliers—or even lost money to scams—simply because they failed to perform this verification.
